Our favourite time of year is in full flow: ski season!

If you’re lucky enough to be jetting off to one of the skiing world’s many resorts, hopefully there’ll be a good snow covering waiting for you there. We’ve put together a brief round-up of the latest snow reports from some of our most popular destinations, to keep you informed as the Easter holidays grow closer!

VERBIER, Switzerland

A favourite of the more advanced skier, reports from Verbierare currently suggesting just 30cm of wet snow covering the resort’s lower slopes. However, there is still promise with Mont Fort recording dry and significantly deeper covering on these higher pistes.

ST ANTON, Austria

Similarly with the lower slopes in Verbier, there has been a relatively small snowfall across lower pistes. However, spring sunshine can be enjoyed and coupled with the higher snowfall of St Anton, where the resort’s higher slopes are reaching 200cm of covering.

WHISTLER, Canada

Excellent snowfall has been seen in this Canadian resort, with almost a metre of fresh covering over the last week alone. Base depths of up to 350cm have been recorded at even the mid-level slopes, with higher pistes believed to be offering season-high depths.

COURCHEVEL, France

Almost all of Courchevel lifts have been in operation over the last couple of days, though freezing levels are high. There is good covering on upper slopes, with reported base depths of just under 200cm.
