When booking a holiday, there are bound to be questions throughout the whole process. Here are our FAQ’s to try to answer a few but if you still have a burning question give us a call and we will try to answer your query.

Insurance

  • Do I need travel insurance if I book through you?

    We strongly advise that you purchase travel insurance, for any holiday especially a winter sports break. It is key to make sure your insurance covers winter sports for peace of mind. We would also recommend taking your insurance paperwork with you - just incase you need to show it at the airport.

  • Where can I find travel advice about the country I intend travelling to?

Health Concerns

  • If I have walking difficulties or reduced mobility, who do I need to tell?

    The best people to talk to will be our Customer Service team, they will be able to talk you through what help is available for you. Call them on 0191 513 6977

  • If I need assistance at the airport, can you help with this?

    If you call our Customer Service team they will be able to help make arrangements for you.

  • I have special dietary requirements, should I notify you before I travel?

    Our Customer Service team can pass on any requests for special diets to airline and the accommodation; however, we can’t promise they will be guaranteed.

  • Am I able to travel if I am pregnant?

    If your pregnancy has been complication free, then there is no reason why you can't travel. You must be fit and well and not have passed your 28th week of pregnancy all this should be fine. Each airline will have their own rules so will need to find out the specific rules for your chosen airline.

  • I need to carry specific medication with me at all times, can I carry the medication onto the aircraft?

    As previously mentioned the airlines have their own set of regulations regarding medication. The best plan is to get in touch with our Customer Service team to find out the correct rules for your flight.

Amending Your Holiday

  • Is it possible to change my holiday myself online?

    Sadly not, all changes need to sent over to our customer service team who will be able to make the changes and let you know the administration fees.

  • How much is it to change my holiday?

    Unfortunately there will always be a fee to change your holiday, the amount will vary due to what you are changing. If you contact the customer service team they will try to find out for you.

  • Can I add ski packs/flight meals etc to my holiday at a later date?

    Of course you can, right up to 3 days prior to departure, whatever you add you will have to pay a little extra. Our customer service team will be able to let you know the prices and if your request is possible.

  • If I need to cancel my holiday, who should I call?

    The best people to talk to will be the customer service team. Unfortunately, you will have to pay cancellation fee which could increase the closer the date.

Travelling With Children

  • What are the child and infant ages with your company?

    An infant is classes as a child under the age of 2, the child must still be under 2 years old on the return date of your trip. If the child has their 2nd birthday during your holiday, they will not be able to travel as an infant. A child is classed and anyone from the age of 2- 16 for most accommodation and tour operators.It is best to ask our sales team when you ring up.

  • Do my children need a passport?

    Each person must have their own passport, no matter how old they are. The passport should have more than 6 months validity.

  • What facilities are available on the flight when travelling with children?

    The majority of airline will be able to warm up your baby food or milk, but you must carry this on yourself along with nappies and other necessities. You will have to put these items in a clear sealed container or bag and you must let the check in staff know what you are carrying on board.

  • Can I take a pushchair on the flight?

    Yes, it is possible to take a pushchair on your flight, you will either be able to check it in with the rest of your luggage or keep it with you until you board the plan where it will be placed into the hold.

Luggage

  • What is my baggage allowance?

    Most airlines allow their passengers 15-20kg of luggage per person, but this will vary with different airlines.

  • What if I go over my luggage allowance?

    Your bags will be weight at the airport when you check in and if you are over the stated weight you will have to pay a fee, which is different for each airline.

  • What hand luggage can I take onto the flight?

    You are generally allow a single piece of hand luggage per person which can weigh up to 5kg. The hand luggage should be a small bag which can fit under your seat or in the overhead lockers. You can request a larger bag for medical equipment which you will need a medical note for.

  • Am I able to take my own skis/snowboard?

    Yes you are, you will have to book skis and snowboards before you go on holiday which you will have to pay a little extra for. If you are unable to get your skis or snowboard on the same flight as yourselves there are a few different companies who will transports them to your resort for you.

  • Can I carry other items in my ski bag?

    Most airlines allow a 15kg ski bag allowance so request that other items are not placed in the bag.

At The Airport

  • How long do I need to be at the airport before my flight?

    We suggest that you give yourself a minimum of 2 hours for shorter flights and 3 hours for the longer flights. If you are collecting tickets or need assistance you will need to allow more time.

  • How do I know which terminal I fly from?

    We will let you know which terminal you will need to go to when you book with us. The airport will also have the departure information on their website.

  • What documents do I need to take on holiday?

    We suggest you take all of your paperwork associated with your holiday, but the minimum you need is; your passport, travel insurance and tickets. We also recommend you take any relevant health documentation needed for your destination.

Flight Information

  • I am scared of flying; can I drive or get a train to my resort?

    Our sales team are the best people to discuss this with, they will help you find out if your destination can be reached via train or car.

  • How can I pre book extra leg room?

    Our customer service team can help arrange this for your or you can pre book the seats on the airlines website.

  • Can we sit together on the flight?

    Yes, it is possible to pre-book your seats when you book with our sales team, you can also book your seats on a few of the airlines website.

  • Can I use my Electrical items on the flight?

    All electrical items are allowed a on flight but need to be turned off during takeoff and landing.
