Verbier Guide
There are over 400 kilometres of piste to snowboard on an all area lift pass and this will take you all over the 4 Vallees ski region, with some runs over 15 kilometres. There are plenty of mountainside restaurants where you can have a break and enjoy the wonderful sunshine in this beautiful area.
There are 3 freestyle areas/ terrain parks in the 4 Vallee’s with masses of half pipes, quarter pipes and kickers to enjoy and they off piste opportunities are second to none. If it is your first time trying snow boarding, there is an amazing ski school in the village and the English speaking instructors can arrange some one on one tuition or a group ski school where you can learn to carve and board safely.
The resort of Verbier is a boarders dream for après ski too, the nightlife is legendary with masses of bars and pubs to choose from. Some are more relaxed than other and some are so lively and close when the sun comes back up. There is a small selection of clubs to choose from too and plenty places to grab a snack or enjoy a meal. The resort is fashionable and cosmopolitan but still retains all of it s Swiss charm.
Non ski activities are endless, take in a sauna or Jacuzzi in the hotels or sport centre, or maybe swimming, ice skating, curling, squash, paragliding or ice climbing, to name but a few.
Verbier is a wonderful resort which suits every type and ability of skier and is definitely a place not to be missed by the snowboarder.
