Heading off to the slopes this Winter? I know, we’re excited already too. We find the best form of escapism on a free afternoon (to try and forget that it’s Summer for a kick off) is a good Skiing film or TV series. So we thought we’d share a few of our favourites with you - these all come highly recommended from the Ski Swift offices!
Starring Taron Egerton and Hugh Jackman, this is truly one of the great British underdog stories. The zero to hero story of Eddie Edwards, who would later be celebrated as ‘Eddie The Eagle’ sees the film’s title character become Great Britain’s unlikeliest of competitors at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary. It’s a must-watch for all skiing fans, with the story as emotional as it is inspiring.
