Key code entry means you don’t have to worry about losing or sharing keys. Plus, all the rooms come with private saunas to warm yourself and drying cabinets to warm your gear.The kitchenettes are handy for home cooking – especially if you go for a larger G2 apartment which comes with an oven - but, if you want to eat out, there’s plenty of restaurants within a few minutes' walk.There’s loads on amenities in the same building – including a supermarket, off license and sandwich place – so you don’t have to don half a dozen layers just to stock up on supplies. The building also has free ski lockers, a bowling alley and an adventure play area – what more could you ask for?Evenings are generally pretty quiet in Ruka. If you fancy going out, head to the Colorado bar for a drink and a game of pool, or just curl up on the sofa and watch a DVD.
