Chalet Alpenblume is a classic chalet, comprising two linked buildings, close to the heart of the resort, and located in a quiet side street only two minutes’ walk from the nearest piste and ski school meeting point. It’s also convenient for lift access, being only about 4 minutes’ walk from the Festkogel gondola leading to the entire Obergurgl-Hochgurgl area.The interior is a combination of traditional Austrian style, evident in the dining room designed with Tyrolean “stube” seating, which creates a warm and inviting ambience, and more modern parts, following a renovation, resulting in a light and airy contemporary bar and lounge and a cosy snug close to the entrance.The bedrooms in the main building are well appointed and stylish, with modern Austrian twin beds, light wood furniture, flat screen TVs, and well-designed shower rooms. Two suites sleeping up to four are ideal for families or friends to share with separate sleeping areas and a balcony too. The remaining bedrooms are housed in a rear wing, linked internally to the main building, and consisting of three spacious suites, each sleeping up to 6 guests, with a lounge area with TV and balcony on the lower floor and two main bedrooms above, sharing a full en suite bathroom and connected via a staircase. Guests will appreciate the extra facilities here with a sauna, steam room and relaxation area available on the lower ground floor as well as a ski and boot room.
