Situated close to our Chalet Lou Trave, the Castor is a charming, rustic chalet, tucked away in the tranquil Mussillon district, about 800m or 8-10 minutes’ walk from both the resort centre and the piste that descends to the main Chaudanne lift. Ski access is made easier for all our guests with our complimentary Ski Total minibus service every morning and afternoon from a nearby meeting point.The accommodation is set over three floors with the majority of the cosy bedrooms on the second floor, some with exposed beams and partially under eaves, and all four of them with an en suite shower room. Pine panelling in the bedrooms and in the first floor living/dining room creates a warm ambience, complimented by white-washed stone walls and classic soft furnishings. The comfortable living room is L-shaped and bright thanks to several windows and the doors leading to the modest balcony at one end.For those wishing to sample Meribel’s renowned nightlife, the lively O’Sullivans bar and club, (formerly the legendary Dick’s Tea Bar), is only a short walk away.
