Pen.rosenhof

stars

The 'small and friendly' Pension Rosenhof is a great little option for experiencing one of the Tyrol's best ski areas, while avoiding the big hotels that dominate the centre of town. The atmosphere is homely and relaxed - typical of an Austrian family-run guesthouse. The Rosenhof is about 10 minutes' walk from Mayrhofen's lively centre and the Penken gondola - so it's easy to get on the mountains for skiing, and out in the evenings for a beer and dinner. The ski bus stop and train station are also only a short walk away for when you want to explore further into the Ziller Valley. The Rosenhof is fairly simple all round - the rooms are comfortably furnished and all of them have balconies. The breakfasts are filling - a continental buffet to set you up for a day out on the slopes. The cosy breakfast room/lounge area has a tiled stove for warming your toes at the end of the day and there's free WiFi for staying in touch with friends back home.

All rooms have a satellite TV and hairdryer.Twin room - sleeps 2: Austrian twin beds, private bath or shower, WC and balcony.Triple room - sleeps 2-3: Austrian twin beds, single sofa bed, private bath or shower, WC and balcony.Austrian twin bedsAustrian twin beds are very common in Central Europe. They’re simply one large bed frame containing two single mattresses, both with separate duvets and linen sets, that cannot be separated. Separate twin beds are less common and can often be head to head beds, rather than side by side, if they are available.
