Skarsnuten

stars

The Hotel Skarsnuten is such a special place to stay. It really feels like you are in a luxury, secluded ski lodge - and that isn’t far from the truth. Perched at the top of the ski area, overlooking the valley, the views from this hotel are incredible. The best place to watch the sunset over the mountains is in the restaurant, with its floor-to-ceiling windows - plus it also serves up some pretty superb food too with their award winning chef serving up superb traditional Norwegian Fish cuisine. You can't beat the Skarsnuten for ski-in, ski-out access either - just clip on your skis in the morning and you’re away, and when you head back later you can ski right back to the door. You don't even have to worry about getting home early - thanks to night-skiing running four times a week, you can ski back to the hotel until 7:30pm most nights. Getting to and from the village is easily accessible by a skibus. This bus does run a limited timetable in the morning and evenings, though you’ll be pushed to want to leave this little mountain oasis.
