There’s not a huge amount of self catering options in Banff and we reckon the Rocky Mountain Resort is the best option if you’re after an apartment, or condo as they call it in Canada.It’s a little way out of town but has its own bus to drive you to and from the centre, plus the ski bus stops at the reception area – so picking up groceries or getting to the ski resorts is a doddle.Set in amongst woods, the chalet-style cabins each house a number of condo units – from small studios to large condos with two private bedrooms and a large lounge and kitchen. The most recent addition is the Wolf Condos which are luxury, modern apartments. The icing on the cake is the range of facilities, including a hot tub, pool and bar.

All condos have a kitchen with fridge, bathroom with bath/shower and WC, hairdryer, telephone, iron and ironing board and cable TV.One-bedroom suite - sleeps 2-4: One queen bedroom, living room with double sofa bed, full kitchen with hob and microwave, and wood-burning fireplace. Queen bedroom, living room with double sofa bed, full kitchen with hob and microwave, and wood-burning fireplace.
