Megeve Guide

Beginners will find almost half the runs in resort suitable for learning. The slopes in this area are wide, sunny and safe. Tuition is available for the English speaking ski school where you can join the group lessons and progress quickly and explore the higher runs.

Family Skiing

Families are well catered for too in Megeve, with a great choice of childcare options, crèche, and kindergarten and baby sitting to name a few. Many accommodations are near to the local ski school and crèche/kindergarten too.

Intermediate Skiers

Intermediates will land in ski heaven in Megeve, with miles upon miles of wonderful well groomed runs, wide sunny slopes and access to some of Frances best off piste are just some of the reasons. There are many difficult blues and challenging reds and even a couple of long distance runs over 10 kilometres. The forest runs make a perfect location for improving those turns and the scenery is just breathtaking.

Advanced

Advanced skiers have access to many deep blacks, mogul fields and tree lined runs and the opportunity to get many ski miles under your belt. The off piste trails are amazing too, especially if you book a guide, they will make sure you experience the best areas and safely too.

Snowboarders

Snowboarders are in one of the best French resorts, Megeve is so well suited, with an extensive lift system suited to boarders with minimal queues. There are 2 snow parks and a boarder cross trail and a fantastic 120 metre half pipe.

Nightlife

The evenings in Megeve are wonderful with Après ski situated around the chic bars and wine bars, some lively, some quiet, there’s something to suit all tastes. Eating out is wonderful with some amazing restaurants offering local and international cuisine. Relaxation is another popular pastime after a day on the slopes and there are some wonderful spa treatments available in resort.

More Activities
