St Christoph Ski Holidays

St Christoph is new to the market and it’s amazing that it has been kept secret for so long. The high altitude resort of St Christoph is set in a spectacular bowl just above neighbouring St Anton. The resort is only a short bus ride from Zurs and Lech too, so you can pretty much ski all of the main areas in The Arlberg region.

St Christoph Guide

Beginners will find it hard to find anywhere more beautiful or sunny to learn to ski, making it perfect for families too. The tuition is second to none and run by English speaking instructors. The local ski school is minutes from most of the hotels, so not far to walk and the views are just beautiful from the nursery slopes.

Intermediates and improvers will be off to explore this massive ski area, skiing to doorstep in most properties and the wonderful snow sure conditions make it a great choice for those who want to get some decent mileage under their belt. There is a 10 kilometres run from peak to village, ready to test the fittest skiers amongst your group.

Advanced skiers and boarders can take advantage of the amazing lift system which quickly gets you up and away to the Galzig above St Anton, renowned for blacks, bumps and some of Austria’s best off piste challenges you will find.

The nightlife in St Christoph is definitely traditional and Austrian in its feel, you won’t find nightclubs and pubs. There are a few locals’ bars and a handful of restaurants where you can enjoy a drink or meal, but on the whole it is generally laid back. If you wish for something livelier, the local ski bus runs to St Anton which is very busy.

Non ski activities are plentiful too, winter walks, horse drawn sleigh rides, indoor pools and sauna, spa treatments. There is also tobogganing and ice skating in nearby St Anton.

So for guaranteed snow, high altitude skiing and stunning scenery, a great all round resort for a levels of skier and over 280km of well groomed, take a look at St Christoph, it just ticks all the boxes.
