The Pension Bergheil has a strong reputation – built largely upon its excellent location and superb homely service. With the local free ski bus stop just outside, you’ll have no problems accessing the local Maiskogel lifts, up to the glacier or over to Zell am See’s ski area. Plus, being virtually in the centre of town, you’ve got all the conveniences pretty much on your doorstep – including restaurants, bars and ski shops. The Englacher family are your hosts at the Bergheil. They know a thing or two about great hospitality and they know Kaprun like the back of their hands. If you need a great recommendation for dinner or fun routes for the mountain then don’t hesitate to ask.The Bergheil has a refreshingly modern finish but it also stays true to its traditional roots. The rooms are a good size with enough storage space and are kept spotless. Breakfast is a tasty spread of typical Austrian treats and eggs to start the day on the right note. The addition of free WiFi will help you keep in contact with home and let you share some photos to make all your friends jealous.

All rooms have cable TV, telephone, safe and free WiFi and are non-smoking. Cots are available to hire, free of charge, upon request.Standard Twin Room (18m²) - sleeps 2: Austrian twin beds, private shower, WC and balcony.Triple Room (18m²) - sleeps 2-3: Austrian twin beds and a single sofa bed, private shower, WC and balcony.Austrian twin beds Austrian twin beds are very common in Central Europe. They’re simply one large bed frame containing two single mattresses, both with separate duvets and linen sets, that cannot be separated. Separate twin beds are less common and can often be head to head beds, rather than side by side, if they are available.
